The Neighbor Helping Neighbor fund is an annual appeal for donations run by our very good friends at The Cape Cod Chronicle between Thanksgiving and early January. The goal is to raise money for our holiday needs (both food and toys for children for Christmas or Hanukah) as well as to help stock the pantry for the winter months. Anyone who makes a donation has his/her name listed in the paper unless the individual prefers to remain anonymous. Many people donate in memory of a loved one or as a tribute to family member, friend or business associate. Hank Hyora has donated $500 to start the fund and challenges others to match his donation. The EOS Foundation will match donations of any amount up to a total of a $30,000.00 commitment from them.
