We Are Hiring an Assistant Store Manager! 

The Family Pantry of Cape Cod is the largest food pantry on the Cape. It operates the Second Glance Thrift Shop in West Harwich. The thrift shop is an upscale boutique that is exceedingly clean, well lit, well staffed and a pleasure to work at. The store is known as "the Nordstrom's of Thrift. The assistant store manager is responsible for managing the volunteer workforce, setting and adjusting schedules, answering emails, ordering supplies, customer service, and monitoring store and backroom conditions. The assistant store manager helps to coordinate sales floor activity as well as backroom activity. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10-5PM. The store is open on Saturdays and it is a required day. The position is 25-30 hours per week year round, and the ASM covers the store manager's day off and vacation weeks.

The job requires a person with 2-5 years of retail management experience and a kind demeanor and strong work ethic. A person should be able to lift 25 pounds easily. Thrift shop experience would be given priority. The person will report directly to the store manager. The person must be computer literate in the Microsoft suite including Word and Excel.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers, volunteers and staff must wear gloves and masks while in the building. The occupancy of the building is limited to 15 people and social distancing is mandated. The store is professionally cleaned daily.
